چکیده

Background: Dendritic cells (DCs) are known to contribute the pathogenesis of different autoimmune diseases. It is clear nowadays role DCs in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) but not well investigated Axial spondylitis (AxSpA). a heterogeneous population and can be divided into groups: myeloid (mDCs) plasmacytoid (pDCs). induce both immune response tolerance. Objectives: To investigate subpopulations peripheral blood patients with early stage RA (duration illness up 12 months) AS. Methods: The study include sixty five forms diseases including 55 10 AxSpA. Diagnosis was established according ACR/EULAR criteria (2010). AxSpA ASAS criteria. All received conventional synthetic DMARDs. Thirty osteoarthritis (OA) used as control group. Analysis content B-lymphocytes, carried out by flow cytometry. subtypes were characterized following phenotypes: (CD3-CD14-CD19-HLA-DR + CD11c CD123-), CD11c-CD123 +), B-lymphocytes (CD19 +). Analyses performed before treatment after 3 6 months. Results: Patients significant evaluation comparison (25.3% vs 21.5, p=0.005). Furthermore, difference found number phenotype B-lymphocytes: 5.7% 3.1%, p = 0.0007). No differences observed plasmocytoid DCs. After month observation we detected reducing amount 26.7% 20.1% 16.4% respectively. Disease activity DAS28 droped low (4.32 to3.06, p=0.03). lower mDCs levels compared (19.3% 26.7, p=0.07). investigation decreasing 14.2%, p=0.05). percent pDCs constant did differ from level healthy donors. Conclusion: data obtained indicate that form rheumatic namely axial have common features such dominance their reduction disease. Disclosure Interests: None declared

Dendritic Cells in Autoimmune Diseases

Dendritic cells (DCs) are professional antigen presenting cells, which play a crucial role both in maintaining immune tolerance and in inducing adaptive immune responses. Therefore, DCs are the most sought in inciting autoimmunity and its sustenance to autoimmune diseases. The emerging knowledge of the importance of DCs, DC-derived cytokines, and intracellular signal transduction pathways in me...

P 86: CD166 as a Therapeutic Target in Autoimmune Diseases

About 3 decades ago CD6 identified as one of the first antigens expresses on the majority of T cells and a subset of B cells. CD6 regulates cellular adhesion migration across the endothelial and epithelial cells. In recent years researches indicate its role in pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. Many researches have been done in recent years to block CD6 by CD6 mono clonal antibodies, IOR-T1 a...

Involvement of dendritic cells in autoimmune diseases in children

Dendritic cells (DCs) are professional antigen-presenting cells that are specialized in the uptake of antigens and their transport from peripheral tissues to the lymphoid organs. Over the last decades, the properties of DCs have been intensely studied and much knowledge has been gained about the role of DCs in various diseases and health conditions where the immune system is involved, particula...

Dendritic cells in autoimmune diseases and neuroinflammatory disorders.

Dendritic cells are the most potent antigen presenting cells and have long been recognized as key regulators of the immune system, linking both stimulatory and inhibitory components of normal immunity. While DCs are fully characterized with respect to primary and secondary immune responses, their unique role in coordinating central and peripheral tolerance is just emerging. It is increasingly e...

Dendritic Cell Immunotherapy in Autoimmune Diseases

Autoimmunity is the result of failure of self-tolerance processes. When the immune system fails to differentiate self from foreign, the effector mechanisms are directed towards the individual’s own tissues, and pathological autoimmune disease results. Dendritic cells (DCs) are professional antigen-presenting cells (APCs) that regulate immune responses. Mature DCs induce immunity that can be uti...
